 What do you think causes the fear of flying for most people?

Over the 25 years I have been helping people like you, I have noticed some very common triggers to the fear of flying.  What triggered your fear?

Sometimes, people do not really know when it started. It just crept up on them. In fact, I have met thousands of people who literally flew all around the world with no apparent problems. Then boom, the fear starts...from nowhere.

Does it matter if you know or don't know how it started?

I don't believe it does. The most important thing is what you do next.  The next step you take really matters...Start today to get rid of your fears.  Do something positive, small everyday towards beating your fear of flying.   


WHY? 

Not being able to fly comfortably robs us of choices about how we live our lives.

Most Common Triggers (people are aware of)

  1. Becoming a parent
  2. Getting older  (about 35 onwards!)
  3. A 'bad flight'
  4. A specific thing happening (not a bad thing) and the pilots/crew not saying enough reassuring information (for your liking) about it. E.G. Technical Delay
  5. Stress in your life in some way or another.
As I always say though, fear of flying is learned. It is never too late to do something about it.
